I have to say, November and December are my favorite time of year for beach walks. With tides going super low and the waves still usually gentle, and occasionally a very warm day, and incredible sunsets – you get the picture. Long walks are not just great exercise and a good time to connect with friends, but also very relaxing and even meditative. Hope Ranch Beach can be accessed directly only with residential membership in the Hope Ranch community, but people who like long walks often arrive here after starting from either Arroyo Burro or More Mesa beaches. In summer, Hope Ranch Beach runs a concession stand and has palapas in the sand, making for a festive atmosphere. There are restrooms, an outdoor shower, and a large picnic area with barbecues in the oaks just up the ramp from the sand. Hope Ranch Beach is a major plus for owning a home in Hope Ranch – a neighborhood I will feature later this week in a real estate blog post!
